We are centrally located in the Mid West in Kansas City, MO

Several of our cows are out of 322H, mother of Total Package, 115H, mother of Ali, 183M, mother of Premium Blend and 1H, mother of Reserve Grand Champion in Denver. These cows are all proven cornerstone donor cows of the DCC program. We continue to work with Fred DeRouchey on mating and bull selection. One of our cows we are proud of is DCC 28P, a daughter of Digger and 322H that was Supreme Champion, Missouri Block and Bridle and a Champion Heifer at the World Maine Show in Kansas City. She was Bronze Show Heifer of the year for 2005. DCC 28P is a maternal sibling to DCC Total Package, the Grand Champion Maine Bull at the National Western Stock Show and the Grand Champion Show Bull of the Year.
This is 28P’s calf for this year. She is a Premium Blend X Digger
heifer calf born in February.
A cow we own with the Carlson Family, DCC 140P, a daughter of Hotline and DCC 183M and a full sibling to the bull DCC Premium Blend, Grand Champion Bull at the World Maine Show. She was Reserve Grand Champion Heifer of the Open and Junior Show at the World Maine Show in Kansas City. Named the Reserve Champion Show Heifer of the Year for 2005.
GEE
New Dude is a bull we are using during the 2008 breeding season.
He’s out of
DCC New Era and DCC 165P (Kool Dude) with a birth weight
of 95 lbs. TH and PHA free. He was on test at the Green Spring Bull
Test and was the top Maine bull out of the 11 that were on test this
spring. Kent Abele, owner of Green Spring Bull Test made the
comment that this bull was the best Maine bull they have had on
test. His numbers showed an ADG of 4.29, REA of 17.8, IMF of 4.82,
F/G of 8.90 and a RFI (residual intake number) of 0.02. We feel
with higher feed cost, feed efficiency information will be critical
for producers.
